Special Guest: Pachet Spates
Pachet Spates aka The Enduring Optimist is a blogger, author, creative mind and journal enthusiast. Her blog theenduringmind.com is dedicated to reflective journaling, creative productivity and motivation. Spates has been blogging for over a decade but did not truly come into her own until a two years ago when she found herself revisiting old journals and reflecting on her life as a whole.
Since then, Pachet has used the art of journaling to encourage readers to think outside of the box with reflective journal prompts, daily doses of inspiration known as Notes from The Optimist and motivating her audience to chase their dreams and uncover their purpose through journal writing.
Pachet’s love for journaling inspired her to write her first book, The Optimist Guide to Journaling (Affiliate Link) which highlights the benefits of journaling, various types of journaling and includes over 30 journal prompts. Spates will be expanding her Optimist Guide series in 2015 with two new books and an e-book focusing on creative productivity.
When she’s not blogging- or journaling, Pachet enjoys cooking, looming, painting, drinking coffee and obsessing over Optimist Prime and vampires who DON’T sparkle.
Pachet currently resides in the south suburbs outside of Chicago with her husband and three kids.
