Chaos In The Coffee House is a look into the life of this Godly mom, who is slightly obsessed with Donnie Wahlberg and Dr. Phil, just trying to hold down the fort and keep her sanity at the same time, while keeping her children alive! It’s a hard job, but somebody’s gotta do it.

Interview with Jenny Zimmerman-Coffee

When did you realize you had a book (or some books) inside you?
Being a mother of five rowdy kids, I was constantly writing a funny story on fb about something they had said or done. I had several people telling me that I should start a blog. So I did. Then after getting close to 3,000 views on my blog and very positive feedback, friends starting encouraging me to write a book. So….I did!Jenny

Why is the theme of this project important?
Although the majority of my book is hilarious and entertaining. Another portion of it is just me, being a real life mom, letting other moms know that you don’t have to be perfect for your kids to know that you love them.

What did you learn about yourself while writing this book?
I learned that it’s okay to screw up. I learned that our kids are only little for a little while so it’s easier to laugh at the small things than to get my panties in a wad.

How do you find time to write?
That was the tricky part. I wrote a line or two here and there. Sometimes I stayed up waaaay past my bedtime and got up waaay before the kids did. I made it work.

If you could work on a writing project with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be? Why?
Oh…My…Goodness! That’s a hard one. If I had to choose only one, it would probably be Nicholas Sparks. But I liken myself to Erma Bombeck, so that would also be a dream come true!
