Navigation is Not Gone on Android Phones, Just Different

Last week I needed quick directions, so I did what I always do when I don’t want to use my Ford SYNC. I pulled out my S3 and tried to find that cool navigation app. No such luck. Then I remembered that I could at least see directions if I did a search. To my surprise,  I was able to find navigation.  Here’s how you can do it.

Go to your search bar and type in your destination. You can also just search here.

Hopefully, you can see it on the screen shot.

Click on directions which should be located under the place you searched.

Select your desired route.

When you reach the map page, click on the navigation icon.

You will be directed to another screen and navigation will start. Voice guidance can be turned on or muted from this screen as well.

I hope this helped.
