Sinners & Saints Book Signing

Last night I had a chance to meet two of the authors I admire: ReShonda Tate Billingsley and Victoria Christopher Murray. They were in Montgomery, Alabama promoting Sinners & Saints.

The were both engaging and fun to meet.

I have worked with and met famous people but was in full fan mode last night. These two women do something that I want to do: WRITE.

It was gracious of them to do more than sell and sign books. ReShonda and Victoria told us about their writing journey and process. In addition, they answered questions about writing, the publishing industry, and how to get started.

One major unspoken take-away I got is to be confident in my craft. To accomplish that I have to be me. ReShonda and Victoria have big personalities and great senses of humor. You see that in their work. Hopefully, one day I have an opportunity to leave it on the page.

Thanks ladies for a wonderful event.

You can check to see if they’re coming to your city here.
